I bought one of these when they first came out and it looked ok but I wanted a diffuser so you didn't have "hot spots" that are notorious with LED's. I found some textured acrylic and cut 1 inch strips of it. Which was kinda tricky. I really liked the look and was pretty satisfied with what I had accomplished. But then I washed my car. Wooops!! This thing completely filled with water and died. I took it apart and was shocked to see how easily it disassembled and not even sealed. So I got another one and took it apart and coated the circuit board with 3 coats of dielectric coating then filled the whole shell with hot glue and sealed it up with hot glue. It has worked great and I have tried to short it out with the hose with no avail

. It really upsets me when these companies sell these things for $90+ and it isn't even waterproof!!! I made a few more and have put them on Ebay so if you want a "durable cheap scanner" that isn't going to die the first shower/car wash you drive through, here you go

Cool, but why do you have the KI2T style scanner pic up on the Ebay page? Seems a little misleading IMO.
KNIGHT RIDER RELOADED is a series of movies on Youtube to represent a different creative avenue to the Knight Rider we knew in 2008-09.
