Knight Industries web site on NBC Web Site
Has anyone noticed that the web page where you get into Knight Industries has changed? The front page now has the FLAG logo on it with a message. You have to click on it toward the bottom of the page to get to the rest of the site which hasn't changed much, but I have a feeling that we may see more later. It's really interesting!

That's cool, at least this shows they are still putting some effort into the website. Might be a bit of hope that they aren't just trying to let the show die
Re: Knight Industries web site on NBC Web Site
Hey, this is great!!!!
They even have a seal
(it looks like Obama's seal)
By updating the website, they gave me a little more hope that we'll get a 2nd season.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It looks pretty much like the original FLAG logo from what little I remember of it.

Re: Knight Industries web site on NBC Web Site
I don't recall FLAG having a logo until either KR2000 or Team Knight Rider... Which in TKR's case, this is what they used or at least something similar though whomever made it put "Of" instead of "For" in the Foundation for Law and Government IIRC.Lexicon wrote:It looks pretty much like the original FLAG logo from what little I remember of it.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

The FLAG logo was the Knight Chess Piece as seen on the side of the Semi. Look at Junkyard dog to see a FLAG sign with the same logo. The Knight Industries logo was different as it was the Knights Head like on KITTS wheel with a wing behind it. It can be seen several times in the pilot on the semi at the airport and on various clothing. It also makes a reapearance on the Techs outfits repairing KITT in Goliath.

They haven't fuly refurbished the website as there are still some old SSC logos if u look around
Re: Knight Industries web site on NBC Web Site
The chess piece was the Knight Foundation logo. FLAG didn't really have one, if you look at, for example, the banner in front of the HQ in some episodes, like in Goliath Returns.

I didn't have any trouble getting into the site and navigating around.
Re: Knight Industries web site on NBC Web Site
I was nosing around the site after checking this thread, and I clicked on mike's bio. Did it always acknowledge that michael's father was a driver for Knight Industries and his mother is deceased? If not, then it looks like we are back into the universe of the continuation!
Re: Knight Industries web site on NBC Web Site
Yes it has said that for as long as I can recall. That is one of the basic character elements they brought over from the telefilm. The series is a continuation of the original basic concept of Knight Rider but not the actual episodic continuity of the original TV series. That's how GST has chosen to do it to give him maximum creative liberty. Speculation is that we will get some more storyline involving the decline of the original FLAG that actually ties things together.around2k wrote:I was nosing around the site after checking this thread, and I clicked on mike's bio. If you go to te servailence portion of the website their are three NEW clips with no name. Click on the folders and they are three clips at a gas station with a man and a boy with the man trying to keep the boy from saying anything to the clerk in the second clip. I noticed that the boy is one and the same as the one that is supposed to be in the next episode so check it out as it might be a clue of things to come!!!!
PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER_SHOW PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER:
Edit: I rewatched the clips and I did not notice that in the second clip the man kills the clerk and their is two people in the car in the first and third clip so this gives us more of an idea of what Mike will be up against next week.

Re: Knight Industries web site on NBC Web Site
Yes it will be and they also have referenced the "One man can make a difference" again which is a good thing and they have changed the top of all the pages to say "FLAG ~ A part of Knight Industries" I won't be surprised if they change the website address and just have the one that its at now link to the new name that might have more to do with FLAG. But its hard to tell I doubt they will do much with the site unless they decide to renew the show for a second season.LisaRosa wrote:They've changed the front of the web site again and there's a note saying that it's still under contruction... hmm.
