As we all know footage of Kitt leaving the semi was used again and agian throghout the series.
There is one paticluar one that bother's me.
Kitt reverses out of the semi, whilst the semi is going aong a 2 way dual carrageway.
Once out on the road Micheal does a 180 and head's the wrong way down the road.
Isen't this a bit dangourous.
and woulden't Kitt stop him from doing such a manovour?

Don't think it would be too dangerous....Kitts scanner would pick up any other cars and give plenty of warning.
Kitt wouldn't stop him from doing it....theres plenty of evidence through out the program, which leeds us to know that Kitt doesn't stop Micheal from doing stupid, dangerous, or illegal things.
I'm guessing though, that your not supposed to notice that its a one way road they are on.

If anything, he points it out, but that's about it, the only time I've ever seen Kitt try and stop Michael from doing something was the head on with Karr, other then that, he lets Michael do whatever the hell he wants.

Actually, that is incorrect, there is one scene where KITT is speeding along in the pilot, and in a few other episodes, where KITT does a fast maneuver, and fuel (or some kind of clear liquid) comes flying from the side gas tank.

Yup, the 3rd gens where notorious for fuel leakage. If you see one parked on the street look closely near the gas hatch. You might see a discoloration below if from fuel dribling out!
KITT project is on again!
Currently working on: brand new stock tan interior, almost done!

Correct, I noticed that marks on mine when I bought it (easily noticeable 'cause it is black)

Y'know I looked for that nitpick of the fuel spilling out when KITT starts doing donuts. But before that bit, when the black dude starts joyriding and does that handbrake turn (can't really call it that but you know the bit i mean), fuel spills out then too.

The thing that always got me was that 'cept for maybe once or twice Micheal and KITT always went in the OTHER direction then the semi. It was rare if they ever went into the same direction the semi was going in.
