Hey, you never know - KI3T will probably have to analyze food at some point in time. I think it could actually be kind of funny if KI3T's sense of "taste" only serves to detect the molecular structure and ingredients of the food; they could use it for more character interaction between Mike and KI3T. (this is a bit long, sorry. But yeah....imagine Val Kilmer's voice with this dialogue; hope it works for you.) Something like:

KI3T: Mike, my scanners detect that your body is producing less than the optimal amount of adenosine triphosphate. Your body will require calorie intake before we undertake this mission.

Mike: ...adenosine triwhatnow? Kitt, what are you saying?

KI3T: Mike, you require food. You need to eat.

Mike: Yeah, that made more sense. Y'know, a double cheeseburger sounds pretty great right about now.

KI3T: "Cheeseburger." A portmanteau of the words "cheese" and "hamburger." According to the information in my database, although a "cheeseburger" contains many calories, it is high in saturated fat and its nutritional content is less than most meals of a similar quantity. I would suggest a different meal--

Mike: *interrupts* Kitt, if you'd ever had a double cheeseburger with onions, pickles, and ketchup, we wouldn't even be having this conversation right now.

KI3T: Mike, I do not understand why you are currently craving a cheeseburger - considering your nutritional options, I cannot understand why you would choose something lacking vital vitamins, minerals, and fiber.

Mike: Kitt, look, it's not about how good it is for you - people eat what they like, y'know, whatever tastes good. I had my first cheeseburger when I was six, when my mom stopped at a fast food restaurant on the way home. We never really ate out, so I savored that burger - it was the best burger I've ever had.

KI3T: It seems as though you attach an emotional response to the consumption of cheeseburgers, Michael.

Mike: Yeah, well, I'm not the only one, Kitt. *hesitates, leans in to KI3T's orb* Sarah used to eat five king-size chocolate bars every day when we were younger - she didn't always look like she did now - but that stays between us, right?

KI3T: I've got your back, Michael.

Eh, okay, that went a bit off of the taste topic, but still, I dunno. I think as long as they remember that KI3T's core character is a human who doesn't quite understand human traits and idiosyncracies, the conversations will write themselves. Stuff like this would be great for interaction between Mike and KI3T - I'm sure someone could write something better than what I've written here - but the formula is there. Maybe substitute Philly Cheesesteaks for cheeseburgers....personal preference. :D
If I am destroyed... ...so shall you be. -KARR

IDK that's Interesting I don't remember that. Was it in the new or the old series Blue?

It happened in the new show. It was the ep that Mike got poisoned. After he gets cured and is running away from the cops for 'shooting' that one guy he comes out in an alley and KITT's there dressed as a police car. He's so relieved to see that it's KITT, instead of a cop, that he kisses KITT's hood.

Slash Fanfic-ers have a ton of material with this show. >_>

Today i showed my 9 year old son Knight to kings pawn. Now of KN08 he's only seen the pilot and of the original he's only seen KNight of the pheonix, trust don't rust and a handful of others. so after seeing the episode i thought i'd ask him what he thought to try to get the perspective of a child. He turned to me and this is what he said "It was alright but I thought KARR would have been in it longer." I litterally had to pick myself up off the floor as I was laughing so hard. He knows nothing of KRO or of any of the discussions that have been going on and he just came out with that being as honest as he could be. Brilliant.
