Do todays people need FLAG?

Ok this is an odd question. Let me explain what I am asking here.

I'm not talking about KITT and Micheal Knight.

I am talking about an organization that helps ordinary people who have been, screwed by the system or perhaps their employer. People who have no place to turn to for help or guidence.

Here's an example.
A union president acting as union representative falls out of grace with the parent union.
The parent union drums up fake charges and ruin this persons repuation, in doing so they cost them their job.
Sounds like a law suit right?

What if no lawyers want the case? Or they want a huge amount of money upfront to file a lawsuit?

who can you go to?

What if you have a credit on your water or electric bill and the city sends you a bill that charges you $50.00 to put a lien on your house and $50.00 to take it off. A lawyer wants $1500.00 to take the case, spend $1500.00 to get back $100.00, is it worth it? no.

So who do you go to?

I guess I am asking do the american people need an agancy like FLAG, something that is free or resonable, but helps the helpless,and the powerless?

I worked in law enforcement for 25 years, you know something not all criminals break the law, some criminals twist the law to their advantage, just to screw you. You know just because the law says you CAN do something, doesnt mean you should.

So what the consensus folks?

If indeed such an agency existed would you use them?

Maybe the question should be does such an orgainzation exist and if so whats it called?

if the technology was ahead of its time like in knight rider...yes there would be a flag and it would be definetely needed!!now criminals are have this habit to be one step ahead of the law or the law enforcments!even of you bring out the swat teams....they always find a wa to evade them!violence and violence and violence!!!and nothing more!!if there is possible that a car like kitt ever existed...then yes....flag will be a great idea not for the states..but for the whole world!!but until then....lets dream!!

Not to mention all the corruption in politics and business at all levels.

Err, only 50 bucks? That would certainly be something waaaaay too small. That's a small claims court kind of thing. How would the city put a lien on your house? Over a measly 50 dollars. O_o NOW if this was something along the lines of the local government wanting to take your property by abusing eminent domain laws (which suck even when not abused) for a company that the Mayor and City Council are in the back pocket of, then that would be more of a FLAG thing.

FLAG is about fighting those who work above the law, not your petty everyday stuff.

And I think organizations such as Flag are more need today than ever before. Greed and corruption is everywhere.

With murders and theives getting out of prison in 5 years tops, it would seem that we would need a FLAG organization to protect the helpless. The frightened witnesses and jury have to feel stalked and scared and the witness protection program can't help everyone.

Maybe I fell a little off the subject, but I do believe that there should be something like FLAG.

There are similar groups out there but obviously in TV Land it's something that's greatly exaggerated.
