Hi, I´m Night Rider, new here , and I have some questions. This is the most perfect place where find an answer so I´ll do it.
1_ Could Garthe or Goliath come back like KARR?
2_ Could KARR come back in next seasons?
3_ Could KI2T appear in some next seasons?
4_ When will appear David Hasselhoff again?

I think that the one thing that is most likely going to happen is KARR coming back if we get another season. I believe they meant for him to be a recurring villain.

1. You mean Garthe Knight, the Hoff's other character in TOS? Well, sure it's possible, but Mike'd kick his arse in 3 seconds flat. He'd be an old fart at this point, so I'm leaning towards no.
2. Hopefully, KARR will indeed return
3. A lot of fans are hoping for it, but in my view not bloody likely.
4. Nobody knows - maybe never.

I don't think they will bring back the old Goliath. Though some fans do want an updated version of the Rook. Maybe they will call that Goliath? Hehe, then again, maybe not.

I think that Garthe was killed at the end of the last KI2T vs. Goliath encounter, by Goliath flying over a cliff, with Garthe inside.

But Garthe would prolly be a bit aged to show up and cause any more trouble. Hopefully he has mended his evil ways and retired.

Garthe needs to remain dead, Goliath needs to also. KARR was left open to return, Garthe wasn't. I was open to the idea of Garthe having offspring but I dunno if that would be a good idea...

Well Goliath would need an update for sure, Peterbilt no long manufactures a cabover. As for Garth, it would require David Hasseloff, there maybe a possiblitly. Garth comes back and Original Micheal and KITT come to assist the new team with an old enemy. Make a good two part or 2hr movie:)

It's been 25 years, there's really no reason why Garthe, as he aged, would look like Michael as he got older since Michael and Garthe might share the same face but they don't share the same genetics. But either way, if there's one character that shouldn't come back from the original series, it's Garthe and nor should Goliath.

KI3T really needs a new adversary for the new show. I don't know about Goliath, but what if there was a new enemy along the same lines called the Titan or something? Not necessarily a semi...something bigger than life, something menacing. (I say this because I don't think that seeing KI3T up against a semi would have the same "oomph" as it did back then.)

I think something like this would be pretty memorable, at least for me.

Except, uh, instead of a dump truck apparatus, it'd have rocket launchers or something...I dunno. I haven't really fleshed it out or anything, but for me, just seeing a truck that large would give me enough "whoa" factor. Mike and KI3T trying to figure out how to actually stop the thing would be a blast to see. A vehicle like this would need a fitting villain, though, and there's the problem.

Any thoughts? If you think it's stupid, don't hesitate to say so - I just think that a showdown between our heroes and a monstrosity like this would be really epic.

I think that the new KARR is meant to fill that spot. He is pretty monstrous. But another villain would be cool too.

That's how it was spelt by Robert Foster, the writer of Goliath and Goliath Returns. Whether it's "right" or not is irrelevant.

1. No. No. No. Though there are potential storylines that could easily make use of the concepts in a similar way. The new show does not follow the 1982 continuity but rather the overall mythology of it so GST takes liberties in how he chooses to update those concepts in his vision of Knight Rider. Goliath could easily return in the form of an advanced military vehicle that destroys the car and Garth(e) could end up being reused as an evil NSA agent or terrorist who serves as a foil to the new Michael Knight. Of course those things don't exactly fit in with the new direction so who knows how those concepts could manifest themselves in the show if it continues beyond a first season.

2. KARR would not likely return but the effect of KARR's existence in the new continuity could manifest itself in ongoing ways. There is an upcoming episode where Sarah has to deal with the NSA (and probably the guy behind the reconstruction of KARR as well) so the door is certainly open but the storyline will dictate if and how it occurs.

3. Yes. How and for what purpose is completely open but the show has to make it to a second season and they haven't gotten there yet.

4. Whenever he works something out with Gary Scott Thompson if GST is actually serious about having the Hoff return as Michael Knight. It could certainly happen with the new direction in story that the show is taking but I don't think you'll see the original KITT at all unless they can drum up something really special.
