Knight Rider on different networks.

Post by EdwardKnoxII » Sun Jan 18, 2009 4:10 pm

Ok let's say that NBC dumps Knight Rider but, gets picked up by a new network. How different do you think the show would be based on the network.

CBS: We would get CSI: Knight Rider. Michael: Kitt..transform..and *puts on sunglass* roll..out. *poses and moves out of the frame* YEAAAHHHHH.

FOX: It would be the same but, they would dump after only 2 weeks.

The CW: It would be a teen drama set in some rich high school and Kitt would be some riced out Honda.

F/X: Michael would be dirty and on the take. You know put drugs on people, murdering people, etc. And he would get Kitt involved to help him cover it up.

HBO: Pretty much the same as F/X but with way more cussing, violence, and sex. And lots of topless Sarah and Zoey. :good:

If NBC dumps the show..I would like to see
either
USA Network pick it up..they are good with Monk and Burn Notice.
or
Sci-Fi channel
or
Slueth channel

those are my top three.
Agree FX is to gritty,CBS,ABC,Fox and CW would ruin or cancel the series.

They might sell the rights if someone offered them enough and they were giving up on the show anyway.

The only channels that could get it are Sci-Fi and USA since they're owned by NBCU, but this show has way too big a budget for cable, there would be significant cuts and changes, including yet another show likely being made in Canada. Fox, CBS and ABC would have zero interest in it since well, you know.... The whole ratings thing and that wouldn't change with going to a different broadcast network. They wouldn't have to sell the rights to anything however since Universal does after all make television programs for other networks. Five million viewers would be great for cable though...
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:
