Chris from Knight Registries took those little amber colored lights from like the back bumper of big diesel trucks and put one on both sides of the inside of his KARR nose, so they are there.. but almost unnoticable unless they are on.. looks really nice. I have a couple of pics of his KARR on my site under Knight Nationals.. not sure if it shows the turning lights though...

There is a replica/conversion site that does sell the front end WITH the black fiberglass covers that KITT originally had so that your KITT car can look as authentic as possible AND be street legal. When I do my conversion, that's what I'm gonna do.
I just wish Mark's Custom Kits would offer that and other options that the real KITT had, such as the lighted steering wheel and a more realistic/normal version of the front end.

The green light in the gullwing steering wheel can be seen in 3rd and 4th season openings. If I don't remember wrong, it was also seen in some 3rd/4th season episode in driving scene.
As for the turn signal lights, I've seen in net at least 2, maybe 3 front noses (1-3 season versions) which lets them be visible in their original place; between headlight and scanner.

You might want to check that out at Knight Registries, they have a few companies that specialize in 'turn-key' (meaning you get in, turn the key, and go) conversions. They would know better what the going rate is, including international exporting.Meccy wrote:Just out of interest how much would it cost to buy a KITT replica that has already been done up, and is anybody selling one that anyone knows of??
