Thank you! See? I'm not totally off my rocker with this plot, then! And while I generally prefer playing a cyborg version when I do have Kitt humanized, playing him as fully human has been quite different. I have to remember that as a human he doesn't have all those special abilities! He has to make up for it in other ways.

true but is kitt, has he inherited human emotions? lol nah im just kidding its a pretty cool idea, though if any of you know of red dwarf ( the uk version) a similar thing happened to kryten (for those that dont know an advanced robot) only things went wrong for him in a totaly different way, but anyway i digress yeah tis a pretty cool idea for kitt to become human.

Well, this particular version is fully human, so... yep! And as much as I'd like to lay claim to the idea, really I'm only following the crowd of other fanfic writers and RPers. And I remember Kryten!

I think all of us are guilty of molding KITT to match our whim of the moment. When I first started Knight Rider fangirling, I thought the idea of car!KITT having even a mild crush was kind of ridiculous. Now... well... I'm sure you see where this is going.

Anyways~ (changing the subject before I say something embarrassing,) I'm still totally into the idea of a canon RP. I'd be willing to play Devon, Bonnie, or some kind of OC, I guess. Of course I'd also love to do KITT, but wouldn't we all?

Even in canon Kitt had emotions, so I never had a problem with him crushing on someone... but I'll admit the logistics of it would be awkward.

I would love you forever if you brought in a Devon, Bonnie, or an OC. And yeah, I can honestly say I'd love to 'do' Kitt, too!

I'd like to see it when you get it done, definitely! I'm not averse to KR slash, but I think it's always good to see alternatives. I've always been more of a Kitt/April or Kitt/Shawn type myself. Bonnie seems too much like a mom to me. I'd still like to see it, though.

The player for Garthe has been around hit and miss, but I haven't started anything with them yet. Michael and Bonnie are mostly NPCs so both of those characters are up for grabs. The rest of the people are just watching. So yeah. Ideas, plots, anything you have I'd love to hear. Just decide who you'd want to play, create the journal, and click to join the comm and I'll okay it. And LOL, bring your friends!

Wow, two years already?

I'm still actively roleplaying my ridiculously AU versions of Kitt on both LiveJournal and InsaneJournal (I have something like four or five different variations at any given time), but I still haven't found anyone to consistently play any of the other TOS characters. This makes me sad, because I've had my Kitt(s) going pretty much non-stop for nearly seven years now. If anyone's interested, I'd love to hear from you! The only thing I ask is that anyone replying should be 18+. You know how it goes.

You know what? I'm bumping this again. You know why? I'm still looking for people. Am I insane to be holding out after all this time? Very probably. Nevertheless, here I am.

Still RPing KITT, only now on DreamWidth. Still looking for people who might want to pick up some of the other characters for pretendy-funtimes. Nine years is a long time to be looking, folks! And yet, I am still optimistic and haven't given up hope! Though the 18+ still applies. Sorry, younger peeps.

RPG'ing can be really fun, when it clicks. I do remember quite fondly, some of those sessions from the days when I actually had time.

These days, I usually can't sit on a computer for many hours and do such RP'ing. So, I wouldn't dare ask to join, as I can't guarantee to be there. Someday...somehow...it might yet again be possible...

Hmmm. Maybe we're not talking the same type of RPG? For instance, I do play DDO - Dungeons and Dragons Online - and yes, some of those sessions require being able to put aside a good chunk of time to complete any one quest. But the game I'm in on DreamWidth is panfandom, journal and text-based, where people basically reply to each other's comments, much as we're doing here on this thread, when they have the time. I think I've posted maybe... three or four comments this entire week? Sure, sometimes I can sit and if the other person I'm talking to is online at the same time, we can tag back and forth for an hour or two, but that usually doesn't happen very often.

But I do agree it's a lot of fun when it clicks.

I've done both styles. The live, IRC versions that transact on a scheduled basis with a party and the board style with long, delayed responses. I just can't reliably work with either, at the current time.

Honestly, I usually play DDO on my own. I've tried playing in a party and it's too fast-paced for me, lol. And I was just clarifying because I wasn't sure if you were familiar with the board-style RP. Which you are!

Boosting the signal on this in a last-ditch effort to generate interest. The reserves/applications are currently open for the game on Dreamwidth that I play my KITT in, and I don't think I'd know what to do with myself if any other Knight Rider characters were to show up there. I would be beside myself! Knight Rider gets NO LOVE in RP, and it gets sort of depressing to be playing the only KR character in any given game, let me tell you. I'm jonesing for a Michael, April, Bonnie, KARR... anyone, really. The game is 18+, so please be aware of that if this sounds like it might be something you're interested in.
