Poll: Are you watching the TV movie or not?
I was thinking about this today at work and was wondering how many people are actually watching the 2-hour movie tomorrow night. I sure as hell will be, let's see the votes!

Of course, I don't see why anyone here wouldn't unless they have other plans and can't... Though then they could record it... I think I read on the NBC topic that it'll be shown again on the uhh 23rd I think. That was updated by a mod there so I'm sure they're right unless they changed what they had edited several days ago..
Of course there's those who are outside the US who pretty much have no legal choice but to miss it.

The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

I didn't mean by missing it, I meant by people who say "I'm not watching it, it looks stupid". I was really curious if those hardcore KR fans would really not want to watch it. IMO, that's insane, its Knight Rider! Give it a chance!

Yeah I'm going to watch it, it looks awesome!
I'm 30 and have always been a fan of Knight Rider since 1985 when I saw it at 7 years old

Well my cable went out at around noon due to the weather I assume since we were getting freezing rain and ice. Then again with Charter it could be anything even on a bright, summer day without a cloud in the sky...... It better be fixed quick.
My power will probably go out too.

Re: Poll: Are you watching the TV movie or not?
Of course.
Actually, I'm watching it right now as I type. Set the DVD recorder to save it to disc as I was at work during it's airing. But, as soon as I got home, late dinner in hand, I finalized the disc and swapped it into the laptop.
Must say that I have a lot of raves about it and just a couple minor gripes.
Yays:
So far, it's looking downright awesome. The story line is up to par. The effects are fantastic. It does use computer graphics. And, there are some that simply hate the notion of mixing computer visuals with real pictures. But, I have always been in favor of the use of CGI.
They are using the same kinds of upgrades as I came up with, years ago for my KIT3T fan fictions. (Never truly written, though. Else, I might have thought the writers were reading my stuff.) A semi-fluid panel for the dash readouts. The meta-morphic shell compound. (Though, my first version used a weaker version of the morph compound that constructed on an arc grid...which would later have been upgraded to riding over a full body, as seen on the show's KITT.) A front scanner port that moved like liquid. Computer systems that were tapped into the evolving world of computers. (Though, my version didn't have the net access, given the time period it occurred in.) Even naming it the three thousand.
It's NOT Knight Rider 2000!!!
They seem to be doing the whole thing right. Even the Ford is breath taking.
I'm not even half way through the movie, yet. Joy!!!
Cons:
So far, I'm getting a worried feeling that they are falling into the TKR trap of going too much with the computer interacting and not enough of the car doing stunts. Though, what driving stunt work I've seen so far is making up for it. Perhaps, there's a whole lot coming up.
That voice. Ehhh...reminds me of a better sounding version of the little GPS unit I recently installed into my ride. Maybe, over time, the voice will become more Human sounding then machine. I very much hope so. Because, right now, it sounds just a tad more tollerable then the MicroSoft voice does, found deep inside the O/S of most modern computers. William Daniels can never be replaced.
