Original Pilot Front Bumper
Does anyone have any good shots of the original front bumper. The one im trying to copy is the original 82 bumper they used first. It looks like the scanner is mounted lower and the turn signals are exposed, but the only shot i have of it is a night shot moving. Cant see much detail.

Here's a few more daylight shots:

And here's a shot of the Nevada license plate from the 20-minute presentation footage along with the missing tail light blackout (from what I can see, it reads "Nevada MCC224"):

Wow, that first nose was very 70s scifi. Ugly and blocky as hell.
And I also love in the first pic how you can see a shadow of one of the crewmembers.

Re: Original Pilot Front Bumper
nice finds... when i was a kid i never noticed all these bloopers in Knight Rider, not even the pilot front bumper, although it's quite obvious.
still, those shots from the pilot let me keep up my hope, that we'll get some modifications on the Knight 3000 as well, when the new Knight Rider will become a series and a bigger budget is granted.

Re: Original Pilot Front Bumper
I rarely noticed bloopers when I was kid, but that hideous first bumper I ALWAYS noticed.
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

And to think the new Mustang has been called a slapped-together rush job.
