It's just occurred to me.
Does anyone know if the new Knight Rider pilot also has a title and if so what is it?
As with the original is known as "Knight of the phoenix"
Or if it doesn't what would you suggest as a title for it?
Does the new pilot have a title?

Re: Does the new pilot have a title?
Well the original was actually just called the Pilot - or had no title. The title "Knight of the Phoenix" was added after airing, presumably to keep it identifiable in syndication and reruns.
Similarly, I think this was probably referred to as a Pilot and will probably be changed in the future if it goes to series.

Re: Does the new pilot have a title?
Confession time: I always cringe a little when I hear the title "Knight of The Phoenix" being used to describe the pilot episode. Larson didn't title the episode that, it never appears in the credits and moreover the whole "Knight of The Blah" episode titling schtick is so third season.
It'll always be "Pilot" or just plain "Knight Rider" to me - no matter what the back of my DVD boxset says!
Actually, "Knight Pilot" might have been a better way to go if they really felt they had to re-title it: "Don't tell me this thing flies?"
Knight Rider The Movie was the title used for the VHS release of the pilot in the UK. I still have my well worn copy after 23 years!

Re: Does the new pilot have a title?
Why? Knight of the Phoenix fits with what happened to Michael Long and why it has that name. Sure the Knight being used instead of Night is cheesy but it wasn't like Knight Rider was exactly a serious show in the first place, plus it took place at a time where cheese stuff like that was common.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!
