I don't remember a K.t.t.e.n and I have season 1-4 on dvd I'll do some research. I remember him being dressed up in several episodes and as a red exotic sports car to go under cover in one.

I am very sure that never happened. Actually more like 100% sure!

I don't think he was ever dressed up in gold, or at least not that I'm able to recall. I remember he was dressed up in another car's body in KNIGHT STING. And he was customized with a bunch of differenct colors in CUSTOM KITT(or at least I'm thinking what that episode was called, could've been called CUSTOM KNIGHT too.).

Really pulled that 1 out of your ass. Maybe you dream new episodes when you go to sleep? j/k
The only other vehicle that I remember, besides KARR and Goliath, was this KNERD. It was a moped that they installed a scanner on at the end of the episode. Pretty corny, lol.

I'm afraid the vehicle in question is 100% nonexistent. You could have seen a golden version of KITT in a fan fiction story though, as I do seem to recall a gold KITT being involved in one of the bizarre "slash" fiction pieces that I unfortunately stumbled on before I realized exactly what I was reading.
Alternatively, you could have dreamed up The Rockford Rider with a gold Firebird Esprit.

Welcome aboard the Knight 2000.
Thank you. What's all this, it looks like Darth Vader's bathroom?

Actually, I do believe George Barris made a custom F Body, with a very similar nose to KITT and it also had a flahser light up front. I believe it was painted Gold and white, and called K.I.T.T.E.N., but it was only for Barris' Kustom Shop purposes. It was never seen or heard of on Knight Rider. He only did it to further publicize his involvement with season 4 and SPM KITT. He was also repsonsible for the customized "Dagger DX", the gold ferrari in Season 3's episode "Knights of the Fastlane", which I believe I saw in a pic of his custom shop window, was parked next to the KITTEN creation.

In that case, I must humbly stand corrected Daryl.

Speaking of this special golden creation, does anyone have a pic? I'm curious as to what it looks like.

KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"
