The Mid-Atlantic Knight Riders' Summit was a HUGE success!!!

It was bigger than I could ever have imagined. All told, we had 12 cars, 9 conversions and 3 that are stock which will be conversions in the near future. The stock cars didn’t get into the roped off area though, and I don’t know why not, oh well perhaps if we do something next year we’ll have to remember to get them inside too. Having this opportunity to network with everyone and meet new folks was the greatest part for me. I truly enjoyed talking with the guys that had the stock cars and answering their questions. I even met a guy who lives 15 minutes from me with a great conversion and we didn’t even know that we lived so close to one and other. The unofficial count for public visitors was over a hundred people, I have to say that I had no idea that that many people were in and out of the show and convention hall all day. (My Aunt sort of kept track as best she could and came up with that number.) I think that the public response was due in part to the news story that was done on Friday morning. WJZ, a local CBS affiliate new station, came to my house at 5:30 in the morning and did an interview with me about my car and the Summit. Here’s the link to that story; http://wjz.com/video?cid=24. WJZ and Fox 45 News both came out to the show on Saturday and filmed and WCBM radio 680am, plugged the show all day. I want to publicly thank The Knight Registries and 13-Three Motorsports for sponsoring this event, thank my entire staff for assisting me in pulling this off, and Paul and Jen Stricker, Scott Rice and ESPECIALLY AJ Palmgren for their assistance in making this show an absolute success. I want everyone one of them to know that without their support, no matter how small that they think it was, it was huge to me. If you guys ever need anything, don't hesitate to call me. Thanks also go out to The Sunset Grill for some really good food during the car show and to the Hooters girls for participating in some photos. I will start another post for all of the pictures and videos that I know are going to come in here soon, so please post them over there. Once again thank you to everyone, including the owners of these beautiful conversions, for without you guys there would not have been a car show. God bless.
