In "A Good Knight's Work", Michael makes KITT jumps off the top level of a car park into the 4th floor of an adjacent building.

KITT: GOOD GRIEF!
KITT: Excuse me, but I have one question ...
Michael: Oh yeah, what's that?
KITT: How am I going to get down from here?
Even KITT himself asks the question!

And they didn't say how he ever got down, either. But the next scene he's back on the ground all happy again.
That whole scene was just hilarious.
