Semi-On-Topic: The Fall Guy Season 1 on DVD! June 5th!

Post by Joe Huth » Wed Mar 07, 2007 3:08 pm

This is one series I've wanted to see all my life - Glen Larson's "The Fall Guy". Season 1 comes out June 5th, according to TVShowsonDVD.com. Look for 82 Trans Ams in the series - those were the other half of the T/As Glen got from that Pontiac train derailment.

Now, there's one series that has been long overdue for the DVD treatment.

The Fall Guy was a great show... Larson's best aside from Knight Rider. (It was also the show that kept Larson OFF Knight Rider... I always wondered what other Knight Rider stories Larson could have gone on to write). Also, one of the best theme tunes ever!

"Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell
But I've been seen with Farrah...
I've never been with anything less than a 9
So fine!

I've been on fire with Sally Field
Gone fast with a girl named Bo
But somehow they just don't end up as mine...

It's a death-defying life I lead
I take my chances
I die for a living in the movies and TV
But the hardest thing I ever do
Is watch my leading ladies
Kiss some other guy while I'm bandaging my knees

I might fall from a tall building
I might roll a brand new car
'Cause I'm the Unknown Stuntman
That made Redford such a star

I've never spent much time in school
But I've taught ladies plenty
It's true I hire my body out for pay
Hey, hey!

I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs
Blown up for Raquel Welch
But when I wind up in the hay,
It's only hay
Hey, hey!

I might jump an open drawbridge
Or Tarzan from a vine
'Cause I'm the Unknown Stuntman
That makes Eastwood look so fine"

Can't wait!!

According to Larson, we should start seeing a lot of 82 Trans Ams in season 2 of this series, since he used the ones in the train accident for this show and KR.
