I want to announce that ELCOCHEFANTASTICO.NET is working in a new Knight Rider and American Car meeting in Spain. It will take on 21th, 22th of April 2007, just in 2 months.
It will be located in Benidorm (Alicante) Spain, and in my honest opinion it will be a convention similar to KNIGHT CON in Germany (2004). Its name is "COCHES FANTASTICOS 2007" (just "FANTASTIC CARS 2007" traslated into english. Keep in mind that KNIGHT RIDER was named "EL COCHE FANTÁSTICO" in Spain). We have lots of replica projects starting in Spain. We hope to have some of them almost completed. It will be american classic cars there, rare to see in Spain, like Mustangs, Corvettes, etc... We hope to receive arround 15 to 30 3rd gen Firebirds with KITT replica project started the major part of them, and some other american cars. This is the second year we have this convention (first with american classic cars). We think we will receive arround 100 people registered.
The meeting will be in two days: the first day in the morning, we will stay at the city council of BENIDORM where the cars will be parked for exposition. In the evening we have 1/4 mile (200 mts.) acceleration testings in LA NUCIA, will have a pair of cruisings througt Benidorm and other towns near Benidorm, (famous holidays beach town in Spain) at midday and at night. We have permissions from the police to have the KR license plates installed and scanner started during the cruisings and they will guide us. The second day will be in a theme park "TERRA MÍTICA", where KITT will appear in the park. The KITT replicas will stay inside the park and you can have fun with the thrill rides, like coasters... We have a special guest, "Jose Luis Angulo", who was the dubbing actor voice of Michael Knight in Spain.
We will stay at a 4 stars hotel, with housing and breakfast. The dinners and supper will be in typical restaurants (want paella?), and at saturday night we have a music rock group ELECTRIK LARRY at "CAFE ROCK KENTUCKY", were the party will be assured! Presents and T-Shirts also included, as the ticket entrance to TERRA MITICA theme park and dinner in a restaurant of TERRA MITICA for Sunday.
The price for all this complete weekend is 120 € (arround $150).
Some of Spanish national TV channels will be there to do TV reports. We tried to contact some celebrities to come to Spain, but it is difficult for us, because perhaps they will not be able to attend a meeting like this, and of course in Spain, far from the US. Any idea or helping will be much appreciated. Also, any idea for the convention will be considerated.

The Alicante airport is an hour close to Benidorm. Valencia Airport is about 1:15 hours far, and Madrid about 3:30.
I take advantage to introduce myself for those people who don´t know about me: I am CABALLERO2000 and I owned the first finished (exterior) replica in Spain until the past year. I am involved in the project since 2000. I am now working in a new KR project, and I think it will be finished for this summer, exterior and interior. I found a GTA with very low miles, 5.7 black, T-Top and tan interior. I think it is a very good donor car for starting again.

I do not write too much in outside Spain forums, but I read you quite often. I have contact with some of you, fans and customers, but by e-mail generally. I contacted personally with my friends Joao da Encarnaçao, Mike Pajaro before writing in the forums (I met them in Knight-Con 04) and Dominic Humlot asking them for coming to the convention and I hope that they can come.
We need to give congratulations to LOFER (ELCOCHEFANTASTICO.NET webmaster), for his hard work for the convention. He started the KR spanish website arround 2003, together with my personal website. He started the forum where we have arround 350 active members, and he is allways in contact with UNIVERSAL PICTURES SPAIN for all refering KNIGHT RIDER in our country. We will have a extra booklet (writed by us) in the 4th season DVD pack of Spain LOL!!!
