What the Japanese KITT would be like if they made a K/R
Ok i know this is probly totaly far out on anything but i have been in a nastalgic(sp?) mood, and i was looking up VR Troopers (yes the old kids cartoon like power rangers) anyhow , i found a clip from the original japan cartoon VR Troopers was based off of. and as soon as i seen it, they guy gets in to a car, the hood starts blinking , and the robot pulls out in it and it looks like a firebird to me. and i imedaility thought KITTs japan brother.
The shot of the car only last a few seconds, but if you pause the video on the hood shot. there is even a knight rider like bar flashing at 45 seconds.
im sure the shows are not tide, but its somthing fun and different to see.

Nope, It's definitly a firebird. You can tell by the ground effects.
They just added to the top of the nose and hood. If you watch
the U-Tube video, when he takes off on the motorcycle, you can
see the car next to it with the rear hatch open. Looks like an 86 to
88 version, GTA or similar.

I think they used a Firebird and a Fiero for this show ...
The first shot where the car is doing a wheel spin looks like a Fiero, because the back of the car looks too short and the angle of the rear ground effects is too steep? The other shots appear to be a Firebird.
The front bumper looks like it has been modified, as the grills look different and the contour lines around the number plate?

*Kidou Keiji Jiban translated into English as Mobile Detective Jiban, is a Japanese tokusatsu television series produced by Toei, aired by TV Asahi in Japan from January 29, 1989 to January 28, 1990 with 52 episodes and a feature movie.*

although Wiki has it listed as a corvette this is incorrect, there is no way thats a corvette.
From the looks of it. its like what things would be like if M.K was too a robot. except Jiban gets a gun
I just thought it was really neat to see that, imagain if KITT had a light up hood.

is a better quility clip with out any credits, if you pause it at 24 seconds you get a better shot. of the wheel.
pausing it at 23 seconds you can see the knight rider like bar in the windsheild on the one side
