Advanced Designs Conversion Parts* Fans, read this!!

I have been trying to post on the Registries for a long time, but for whatever reason, they have to aprove your account & they must never check for new members so I figured this is just as good a place to post.

I have been waiting for 3 long years for Don of Advanced Designs redesigned 4th season interior products. To me the 4th season of the dashboard is amazing. So when building my replica, I wanted to go the 4th season route. Don told me to hold out as long as I could and wait til he redesigned his stuff....boy, am I glad I waited and stuck with his products to have a full AD conversion car. Check out the link to the site where some pics of the dash are.

If your a true fan and a freak about detail, then there is no other company you can turn to than Advanced Designs. None. Don't waste your time or money going to any other company, no matter what they say about original molds, and bragging rights. Nothing compares if you are a true fan of the show and know what K.I.T.T. is supposed to look like, inside and out. If your in the market for a conversion project, you can trust Don. You can know his work is A #1. Watch Knight rider in detail..freeze frame the DVDs...then go look at his products..1st or 4th season, it doesnt matter. It's DEAD ON ACCURATE, FULLY FUNCTIONAL, and looks stock! If your gonna build a replica, go all out. I am so pumped to be installing this stuff in the next few weeks, im about to bust. The long wait has paid off. When I get the interior finished, you will all see pics, and im anxious to hear peoples reply. I may be a "stanger" on this and other boards, but I have had a love afair with this show and car since I was a kid. Thanks to Don from AD, my dreams are comming true. Looks like one man really CAN make a difference!
Here's the link..enjoy!!

Well, mines all paid up....im just waiting for him to get to my install. full interior, everything working, installed will be 10k give or take. but Don is flexable on his prices, just dont expect the stripped down dash model to have all the bells and whistles! You get what you pay for in my opinion! I'm gonna try to post pics of my car in its current state, and then when its done, on or about the first week in september

I'll have to agree that Don's products, for the most part, are the most accurate. Just a few things I can think of that aren't: the nose for seasons 1-3 is the same sharper nose seen in Season 4; the turn signal blackouts show visible screws; and the first and second season gullwing wheels don't have the "hole" in the center, at least the last time I checked which was quite some time ago. A second version of the 1st/2nd season dashboard with the smaller monitors and the octagonal frames would be a nice option, but that's nitpicking. Aside from those things, every product I've seen of his has appeared dead accurate.
