Judges Announced for 'America's Got Talent'
LOS ANGELES - "America's Got Talent," the new TV contest that promises to feature a grab bag of singers, dancers, comedians and more, has an eclectic panel of judges to match. Brandy ("Moesha"), David Hasselhoff ("Baywatch") and British media figure Piers Morgan will be scrutinizing aspiring stars for the NBC series set to debut next month, the network said Thursday. The variety contest begins with a two-hour episode 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday, June 21. It will air regularly from 9-10 p.m. Wednesday, with a half-hour results show beginning Thursday, July 13, at 8:30 p.m.

Hmm...I will have to turn it on to see what he looks like. I usually don't like those types of shows.

Uh, that's a new one on me, since I really wasn't going to tune in to that show, what with Regis Philbin hosting.
However, with D. Hasselhoff being one of the judges, America will have a better chance of showing real talent, and I think I'll watch the show just for him, because I think he'll have a good vision of what real talent is, too.
I'm curious about one thing, though; how'd he get roped into a gig like that anyway?

Wonder if that was the pilot He was referring to when He canceled his tour?

Interesting, that show is Exec Produced by Simon Cowell of American/Pop Idol fame. Simon mentions working with Hasselhoff in his autobiography.

I wonder if he'll be strieght forward, nice, or mean when he's judging?

I really can't see David being mean to the performers. He will probably make suggestions on how they can improve if they need to. I can't stand American Idol so I hope this show wouldn't be like that.

Looks like it will be an exciting show and I'm sure that David will be an excellent judge. I'm very happy that David will be in a new TV series!

I hope the producers of the show "America's got Talent" will just let D. Hasselhoff be himself toward the contestants, not something that they want him to be,as in a mean Simon Cowell soundalike since that won't be any fun at all.
Even if that's a new thing for him to do, I hope he'll have fun with it, and not be intimidated by his new job at all.
Lastly, I wish him luck.

Thanks for letting us know that DH is going to be a judge! I probably would've watched the show anyway, but now I will watch it all the time!! That will be very interesting. Now DH just needs to star in a movie, TV or otherwise, drama not comedy.
