I read about this in the UK newspaper, the mirror a couple of weeks back. Funny, they had a picture of KITT in the article aswell 
Recall it said something along the lines of " it doesn't have a moving red light and does not answer back, but this is the closest you'll get to living your child dream of driving KITT from Knight Rider".
The report did a non test drive (if you know what I mean!) on a motorway in the UK.
