No problem, I'm happy to help as always. Speaking of which, using the full editor, I've noticed some of the emoticons are broken, including our much loved thumbs up.
Wow, long time no see Matthew. Welcome back buddy. As high caliber hardcore fans we are, it's practically our job to nitpick. Then again models like the Jada all black interior with no stickers or the later released half dash of decals sent me into a frenzy with its incredible low suspension and &q...
Actually, there were seatbelts in some of the interior shots in the pilot. But you're right, the model does seem to combine different elements from over the seasons. As best I can tell, it seems to be mostly inspired by the pilot version though. Still, whether it's a one-to-one recreation of the ear...
The interesting thing regarding the lack of the Knight's head logo is that Altaya actually have the Knight Rider license, as they've got a 1/8 scale partworks KITT in production right now.
The key to what Michael and Bonnie do is in the conversation with Dr. Von Vorman after KITT struggles with the obstacle course. The doctor has written KITT off. He can't understand that there is an intangible human element to KITT now, because he only sees a machine. What Michael and Bonnie do is mo...
Ken my friend, you'll never have to prove yourself like that whilst I'm here. Yes, the user in question abused the honour system when he pulled that fracked up stunt, but I still believe in taking people at their word above all else. Everyone here knows of my battle with depression thanks to the act...
To be honest, I think you're giving Devon far too little credit. What we have in Michael Knight is a man who has lost literally everything. He went from being resigned to the fact he wouldn't even be able to seek justice/revenge, to being granted the most fantastic gift a man in his position could e...
The restrictions placed upon Michael in Knight By a Nose could easily be considered a justifiable response to the "reward" he gave John in KITT vs. KARR.
Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your first question. However, on the second one, David Hasselhoff playing Michael Long when he is shot by Tanya Walker places this scene within the original conceptual presentation, as does the absence of Wilson's lieutenant, Grey. In fact, at the time of fil...
Welcome to the board. I'm afraid you aren't the first musician to star alongside KITT, but you're certainly in very exclusive company alongside Michael Knight himself, Mr. David Hasselhoff.
Well, it looks like the spammers are now adding their crap to our quotes. This guy was caught up in the new members group, but if you could keep your eyes open, I'd appreciate it.
Actually, I'd beg to differ on the notion of how hard it might be in this day and age. Sure. Back in the day of 1980, calling up information and such was a deeply involved process and made it harder to verify information. But, back then, records were kept on physical media inside filing cabinets an...
You're right there. One of the main reasons I'm currently leaning towards the Camaro in the other thread though, is that they're just that bit more practical in an everyday sense with the extra seats... plus, if I'm completely honest with myself, I just like the design of it more than I do the curre...
Well I still cringe when I see a yellow scanner In place of a red one or seeing Karr's voice modulator. Seeing kitt be a good AI all those episodes learn to grow and be a positive force for good and yet see the same body but have an evil force behind it with a yellow scanner makes me think it shoul...
Sure thing bud, it's sorted. :good: As annoying as the debate gets, where I land on what car should be KITT always depends on which one we're talking about. For a modern take on the Knight 2000 for example, I always lean towards using a GM proxy like the Corvette or the Camaro in lieu of a current T...
Here's a question, if we go with the idea that this is a reimagined version of Knight Rider proper, how would you guys bring KARR to life in a Trust Doesn't Rust retelling. My vision for KITT is already on the table thanks to Knight Racer's awesome photoshop work, so for KARR it becomes a question o...
@Matthew, I believe you made a suggestion in the middle of the evening about tinted headlamps to match the look of the 80's kitt and changed your post. I made a mental note of that for this morning before you changed your post. I did yeah, although I didn't mean to edit it out. I should probably ma...
I love it man, that's exactly where I'd start if I was working on a modern KITT using the Camaro. Hell, if I ever get my arse in gear and get back to that story of mine, I could definitely see myself writing KITT based upon that.
I kind of dig it, although I would stick with the original wheels and just change the outer rim to a stainless colour to simulate the style of the Trans Am wheels.
