As you know, it that’s time of year again, where everyone who’s able to, is travelling to Las Vegas for the second annual Knight Rider Festival.

Unfortunately, there are many of us who are unable to make the journey. In an effort to provide an equally unique experience, we at KRO will once again be covering the event as it happens, with interactive video coverage featured throughout.

Some amazing news we've been eager to share with you! David Hasselhoff is coming to Knight Rider Festival. We heard the word last week that this might happen, but we didn't want to announce until things were firm and David Himself commented on it - and now with the event tomorrow he has!:

Spreading the message to Make a Difference - Knight Rider Festival

]]> In the days leading up to Knight Rider Festival, three unique vehicles of Television visited the Carolyn S. Reedom Elementary School in Las Vegas. Over 500 elementary aged children spent the day with KITT, KARR and the General Lee - taking pictures and just having fun!

It is this message of making a difference in a child's life that is essential to Knight Rider Festival. Taking place over the course of two days this weekend, the Festival is FREE to all, and is raising money for the Children's Miracle Network. Together, we can all make a difference.

Catherine Hickland will be singing the National Anthem this Saturday at Knight Rider Festival. Taking the stage at 10am, she will kick off the festivities for the day backed by the Nellis Airforce Color Guard! What a great way to start the day!

KITT voice by Navtones available tomorrow, VIP sponsors Friday

Our good friends at Navtones will be releasing their updated voice for KITT tomorrow! Released for the first time to Garmin and TomTom devices includes updated usernames and voice clips (over the previous Mio release). Their voice for Hasselhoff is available now.

Navtones will also be sponsoring the Knight Rider Festival VIP party taking place this Friday. The Festival runs through Saturday and is free to raise support for the Children's Miracle Network. Their release on the VIP party is here.

David Hasselhoff announced today that he will be in LA ofr a promotion to benefit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society.

This Saturday, March 20, I will be at the Pink's Hoffdogs Promotion and Giveaway to benefit the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society from 1pm to 3pm! There will be animals, music, giveaways, friends of the Hoff, and the world premier of the Hoffdog! Come join us and say hi to the animals that are up for adoption, and just maybe you'll find one that you can make a new home for.

Weddings at the Knight Rider Festival

We've got only one week left until Knight Rider Festival 2! We will be hitting the ground running on Friday starting with coverage of the Drive Thru Wedding with KITT as Best Man. With several KITTs on hand, and some special guests, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Catherine Hickland will be there as the Maid of Honor, and George Barris will be the Best Man! View the schedule for the other events of the weekend!

While we've got you, tickets for the VIP party will no longer be available as of Monday. For $25 donation to the Children's Miracle Network, you will get to mingle high above the Fremont Street Experience with the Cast and Crew of Knight Rider. Check out our pics from last year. Knight Rider Festival 2 updates

As we enter the month of March, we are counting the days till the Festival! By now you should have your Hotel all set as the promotion with the Golden Nugget has ended.

If you wish to get in on any of the pre-orders for festival merchandise of a limited edition poster or t-shirt, be sure to do that by March 14th via the Knight Rider Festival Store. A portion of proceeds will go to support the Childen's Miracle Network.

Car owners that still wish to register their vehicles can do so for $25 for TODAY only. Tomorrow the price raises to $40 dollars. Payment is accepted via PayPal on the festival website. Registration of a vehicle gets you access to the VIP party.

Access to the VIP party can be obtained for $25, but is almost sold out! This is a space limitation, so be sure to get your pass via paypal on the festival website. Tickets will not be available at the door.

Sponsorships are still being accepted for the event. You can become a Event Sponsor of Knight Rider Festival by providing a 3x8 banner of your company and it will be placed on the event site where thousands of people will see it. The sponsor cost is $100.00 per banner. You must provide the banner and it must be approved by KRF staff before it is placed at the event site. Other sponsorships are available. Please contact Paul Casey to discuss.

A grass roots effort has been born to convince David Hasselhoff to attend, be sure to goto his official website, and join the group to bring David to Las Vegas!

As you may recall, towards the end of last year there was a chance of a lifetime. We gave you the chance to interview William Daniels, the legendary actor and voice of KITT in the original Knight Rider.

Your fan submitted questions were used during a recording session by NavTones, who produce the KITT voice as well as dozens of others for your GPS. Knight Rider Festival 2 merchandise available for pre-order

Pre-orders are now being taken for the official merchandise of the Knight Rider Festival. This year, artist Nick Nugent has done a great job translating his Festival branding to a couple of great products. Available of course is the Knight Rider Festival T-Shirt, but unique for this year is a special limited edition copy of the poster. At 16" x 24" it's great for framing, and is specially printed with gold ink and signed by the artist. (For a look at the process in creating the poster, check out this really insightful representation of it's revisions) Quantities are limited, so be sure to order while you can.

Both items are available now for pickup in person at the Festival. The Poster is available to anyone not attending, but will not be shipped out will until the first week in March. Be sure to choose the right item when ordering.

It's important to note that a portion of the proceeds will be going to support the Children's Miracle Network. The mission of Knight Rider Festival is to help show that we as fans can make a difference in a child's life.
