Well...I can finally let the cat out of the bag. Several weeks ago I was contacted by Hollywood prop wizard Matt Heimlich http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0374259/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, about getting one of my Comlink Watch replicas to be used in a commercial. I was told it would be in a group of communication devices through the years. The commercial is for the new Samsung Galaxy Gear wrist communicator device. I am like a proud pappa. It's a great feeling seeing something that I had produced representing the history of KNIGHT RIDER.

I remember reading about the Samsung Galaxy Gear about a month ago.I was looking up watches that can do more than what the Sony Liveview or Sony Smartwatch could do.They both use the watch as a bluetooth receiver.This wasn't the exact website I read about it on but it seems to have a lot of info on the new device connected to the also new Samsung Galaxy Note 3.I'm still using Note 2 which is a great phone.

It's sort of weird, I didn't realize how... "unoriginal" the comlink was until I saw SO many watch clips put together like this.

Thanks for the kind words. Sorry, no Johnny Sokko watches. The KR Comlink watches were expensive enough to produce.

I saw the commercial that Michael Pajaro posted while watching the Goldbergs(swear it's a modern day Wonder Years) and seeing Kitt on a 50 inch tv makes me want to watch kr again.I've stopped watching it feels like months ago but seeing kitt so huge makes me want to rewatch the series again.

I might get the Samsung galaxy gear when they release a patch for the note 2.Right now it only works with note 3.i was considering getting the power Rangers watch for the wristband to complete the cybernetic look for another watch.

Actually, they are better than screen accurate. I made them more "Real World" perfect than the original screen used watches. Screen printed watch face instead of a sticker put over the lens, stainless steel back panel, with KNIGHT INDUSTRIES logo stamped in instead of a plastic back panel. And, other improvements.





I think maybe you're thinking of the term SCREEN USED. There was only one SCREEN USED Comlink watch used in the Samsung commercial. The one that I supplied to the production. But you've got something just as good. You've got one EXACTLY like it.
