Michael Knight nitpicks

Post by LadyKnight » Sun Jan 26, 2003 1:00 pm

Is it allowed to nitpick Michael aswell as we do with Kitt, Karr and the semi? He is afterall a human been and I don't want to step on any toes of those who admire him, that's why I ask permission first. :?

I think you need to know something about nitpicking. Nobody is above nitpicking, and a nitpick is anything that is found that is not consistent with common sense, reality, or the continuity of the show. And most of the real nitpicks end up on my nitpick pages on my site, so feel free to nitpick. :)

well not a nitpick persay as far as continuality, but why, in "buyout" when michael is locked in the heat chamber and being cooked, doesnt he at least take his jacket off, i mean, logic says, if your hot, take off a layer of clothing, lol

Okay then. :)

* Why in the eppie 'Sent of Roses' at Michael's wedding didn't he have Kitt standing by in surveillance mode? He survived 2 attacks already by that creep and knew that guy was still after him. So surely he must have known that he would be extra funerable at his wedding? Kitt could've scanned the man carrying a gun in advance and taken proper action which could have saved Stevie's life.

* Why does Michael always repeat his last line? If you do it once or twice, okay but not in every episode. Stop that!

* Couldn't he afford to go to the hairdresser now and then? His hair was growing so out of control he could easily join the Jacksons Five group ;)
No wonder Kitt teased him with the hats he wore.

* He had to wear many ugly trousers but the pants without backpockets and the seem in the middle is really yuck on a guy his size!

Now, some of those are really complaints, not nitpicks.

Nitpick: In Scent of Roses, there is a running joke around here called 'The Bonnie Conspiracy Theory'. Not only was KITT left out of surveillance mode, but there was absolutely no security at this event that Bonnie set up. We theorize that Bonnie couldn't stand to see Michael get together with Stevie, so she set Stevie up. ;)

Michael's repeating = dramatic emoting, it was pretty popular in the 80's to enhance the dramatic effect.

His hair was in a perfect curl perm, it wasn't growing out of control. Once again, it was extremely popular in the 80's. Not to mention, Hasselhoff has naturally curly hair. That is just a matter of taste, not a nitpick.

Once again, the trousers (ok, jeans, let's make that a little more easier) are a matter of opinion. The thing that was the funniest about those, really was how tight they were. Ya could just about tell how...ehem...developed he was with them.

The only repeated line I can remember is at the end of KITT Vs. KARR. When KITT says that it has been a good partnership, and MK said (something to the effect of) "The feeling is mutual pal, the feeling is mutual."
