MIO Navman KR GPS stuck on USB screen

Post by saintcar » Tue Jan 10, 2012 3:04 pm

Hi,
Has anyone had the following problem with their KR GPS? My unit once it shows the start up screen is now stuck on the screen that wants to link the unit to my PC. I can reset and restart the thing but it only ever gets as far as the USB and PC and monitor display indicating it wants to link to the PC. Despite ejecting it from my PC it still freezes on this same bloody screen!
Thanks for any help.

Sounds like it was accidentally erased.

Is there a technical support chat page out there for this kind of stuff? I've heard of some weird software glitches in commercially released products that can totally make the item unusable, before. Often, a strange little piece of coding that acts like a time bomb of sorts. Usually something overlooked from it's beta stage.
