Super police car technology (CNN)

Post by one_man » Sat Jul 04, 2009 9:00 pm

Just saw this on CNN website, the police's KITT
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/tech/2 ... ce.car.cnn" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The super car only comes in black+white, and features a 15-inch touch screen similar to K3T.

The opening of KR 2008 was played for a few seconds at 2:01 (although the name Knight Rider
was not explicitly mentioned in the video).

Being a cop myself. I was lucky enough to see the demo model. It is abour as close to KITT as you can get, Its completely voice controlled. It is also kevlar reinforced to make it bullet proof. One of the many features they overlooked is a Biological and chemical weapons detection module. So its constantly "Scanning".

I like the way you mentioned Scanning :D does it include Head-up display also?? because if does that, then for sure they have taken the Idea directly from KITT Image :kitt:
