Kitts nose?
who designed kitts origional pointy nose? its not on stock TAs so did universal create it especially for kitt? kitt has a stock nose for a while in the pilot so they replaced it with the new one, so where did it come from and why?

Re: Kitts nose?
I believe the front end was replaced when they added the tow bar under the front so kitt could be towed and filmed. Also the front end may have been replaced to help hide the tow bar better but I don't think thats the case as they really didn't try to hide it when filming. In some action scenes you will notice that the hood looks like it's open as it sticks up more than normal, this is because of a protective covering that they used to help protect the paint and bodywork
Booonnnnnzzzzaaaaaiii!!!!!!!! As michael turbo boosts to score the extra point. His face is so funny when he yells this and when he hits turbo boost his eyes get huge and he flies back into the seat

Michael Scheffe designed and built the original custom nose/bumper for the K.I.T.T. car as well as the dash inside.
George Barris designed and built the Super Pursuit Mode modifications and covertable mods in season four. Barris also designed and used various other cars sprinkled throughout seasons 3 and 4.

Re: Kitts nose?
Jon Ward had designed the original blunt front nose as seen in the 20-minute presentation footage intermixed in the Pilot. After that, Michael Scheffe designed the more familiar nose we're all accustomed to.Tobie wrote:who designed kitts origional pointy nose? its not on stock TAs so did universal create it especially for kitt? kitt has a stock nose for a while in the pilot so they replaced it with the new one, so where did it come from and why?
