If the new KITT can morph.....

Post by nightwheel » Thu Feb 21, 2008 9:26 pm

Why can't he Morph in a new Camero or morph into the old KITT. It's possible isn't it?

Perhaps that's why K.I.T.T. didn't morph into another make & model. By limiting the morphing, no one can start wondering the same things you are, otherwise the possibilities are almost limitless, as long as the vehicle is roughly the same size. That's getting a little too carried away with it. I think I'm glad the morphing is limited to other Mustangs.

I hope he morphs into a rusty old 1980 Pinto Station Wagon and can't change back.

Seriously though, KITT should morph into crappy looking, rust covered, old, damaged cars in certain areas. If the car just keeps morphing changing into vehicles that look brand new the effect is going to be pretty much pointless.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:

Kind of like Bumble Bee in the Transformers Movie. He started out as a clunker & then slowly became a better car. Except the new KITT could do it at will. I'd like to see hime become an Old Mustang from the 60's or 70's. Or to be really funny. A Ford escort from the early 80's. I just don't know where he's put the rest of his Body at.

Bumblebee is alien technology, KITT is human technology; really can't compare the two.

Would everyone quit complaining about KITT being the best Mustang to ever roll off the assembly line.

Perhaps it a "not-yet" scenario. Even it the original series, KITT was always a work in progress.

Another possibility is that the nanobots cannot change the mass of the car.

I'd like to see him change into another make of a car that's suitable for him when he's doing International missions. Can you imagine a Mustang running in the roads of Japan (don't even get started on The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift) or in the streets of Europe? To be able to be discreet in those international missions, I think he needs to be able to change into the native country's cars, maybe turn into a Peugeot in France, into a Lambo in Italy, into a BMW in Germany, into a GT-R in Japan.... but yeah, of course Ford won't allow that to happen, will they?

Here's one for you old-timers like me: The Knight 3000 was not the first morphing car. The Viper was not the first morphing car... The earliest one that I can think of belonged to The Amazing Chan:

And no, I have absolutely no idea what kind of technology they were using to do that!
