Knight Rider Movie Trailer
I was kind of wondering on how soon we may see a Knight Rider Movie Trailer in theatres. Since the movie is supposed to be completed by the end of the year, it is hopeful we may see a trailer sometime this coming summer. It would really be cool to see the trailer on opening night of Episode III, Revenge of the Sith, to give us something to look forward to during the holiday season.
I don't need no "Wizard Of Oz Car" putting me behind the 8 ball, for nothing. LOL (The Rev)
All they did was blow away a "Ringmaster", they didn't even steal any hamburgers. LOL (Michael)

If there is a movie trailer and if they are going to have the original car in the film and a new car, what I would like to see is a lot of the old car, but I would like to see the new car hidden somehow (maybe showing clips of the film facing from the scanner view), so that it may be more of a suprise what the new car is when the film comes out

Forget anything you heard about the movie being completed by the end of the year. Not true. No studio has taken it on yet, there is no announced script, no announced cast. While it's still possible the movie may be made this year, we have no official information backing it up yet.
Here would be my logic: at this point, the Knight Rider movie is at least 6 months behind the Dukes movie. (Dukes seemed to be given the full go-ahead late last summer as I recall.) Therefore, the earliest I would expect any kind of Knight Rider teaser would be at least 6 months after a Dukes trailer. Of course, that delay keeps growing with every week they don't announce any official news on the movie.

Even though there is no news on the movie yet, I did have a neat idea for a teaser. Ok, all you see at first is the black screen and then all of a sudden you see the scanner light up. Then you hear K.I.T.T's engine start, his lights pop up, he peels out, comes toward the screen, and then it looks like the screen tears away or glass breaks or something like that, and then they show a date but not the movie name. These kind of trailers always peaked my interest.

How about this for a teaser (definately be one for the fans of the show):
FADE IN:
TRACK SIDEWAYS on the rear fender.
FADE TO BLACK
TEXT: 0 to 60 in 0.0001 seconds
FADE IN:
LOW ANGLE SHOT OF CAR from the rear.
FADE TO BLACK
TEXT: Onboard GPS tracking and power steering.
FADE IN:
ANGLE ON FRONT, as we see a scanner come on, THE ELECTRONIC SWOOSHING sound comes up for a moment.
