KATT??
This is probably territory for the Fan Fiction writers among us?
I'm not sure if thsi idea has already been done though?.......What if a female version of KITT was created?......She could be called KATT and have a female drvier?
Maybe she was an unfinished model, That was rushed into production and could serve as either a little or big sister role to KITT, Or psycho bitch role to KARR.

There's K.I.A.N (do a membername search for her
) I haven't seen her around much lately though. I did an avatar for her. The car is a girl car, and fanfic about her is on FanFiction.Net. KIAN (in the story) is KITT's Baby Sister.
Her colors are white on the bottom and pink on top (sorta like 2-tone like KARR) and she has a pink scanner. She's a Trans Am as well.
KATT would be cool. Someone else was thinking of a black/blue firebird for a new Fictional AI. And we all know there's SKAR, Sith's creation. I enjoy seeing new fiction AI's coming up based on KR. Would be interesting.

Nice idea about KATT. But you never said what the acronym stood for. Knight Automated Two-Thousand? That's the name I came up with from a different thread on here in my mind talking about K.I.T.T. & K.A.R.R. and what vehicle KARR would be the onboard computer for (since KITT is the onboard computer for the Knight 2000).
I love the idea that a female version of KITT could exist but I would rather see her as a villain and someone that has the capability to outsmart KITT (like how the Shawn McCormick character matched KITT's wittiness in Knight Rider 2000). I'd like to see her superior to KITT in a lot of ways (more capabilities, larger harddrive/memory capacity, superior A.I., etc.).
I like when villains are more powerful than the heroes because I like rooting for the underdogs. I also agree with HondaSiR that she should be a Corvette (the body style looks similar to the Trans Am anyway and even has pop up lights). As for the color, I'd say go for red maybe even pink...but maybe pink may look too feminine? No offense to you, K.I.A.N., your car looks great!

KATE was a Camaro IROC built to distract KITT and convince him to work for a mad scientist dude, or something like that. It had a female CPU and was KITT's "girlfriend" in a UK only comic style annual.
The car had a Firebird unibody, 82-84 T/A taillights and rear wing, Camaro fenders, nose, IROC hood and trim. She looked to be sporting 85 or 86 IROC rims. Oh yeah, the scanner was crammed somewhere on the nose (early 80s Camaros kinda had three cutouts on the front of the nose that could be cut into one large scanner opening. Often thought about modding my 83 in such a way).
The interior was just awash with random LEDs and gauges, and didn't resemble KITT's interior at all.
I would like to build a KATE someday. I figured it would be easier to start with a 82-84 T/A Firebird donor rather than a Camaro. My research so far has determined that Camaro fenders are difficult to mount on a Firebird body. I think it would be easier to go that route than do the extensive body work on a Camaros rear end to make it look like a Firebird. My KATE would be red with gray rocker trim, no badging (like KITT), tailight blackouts, chromed IROC rims and a blue scanner.

Heres a quick photoshop element rendering of my proposed KATE. The picture donor is a 1982 Camaro Z-28. Wish I had the cash to build one of these, this project would be fun because there are no limitations. Since KATE doesn't really exist you wont have people nagging you about inaccuracies in your conversion.
My KATE would also have to be a hardtop like my KITT to prevent me from ripping everything out of my hardtop KITT and starting all over again with the T-top donor.

Yeah, I did, didn't I? Good grief, that was a long time ago. I had plans that if the series had went on for a lot longer, that KATT would have become a member of the TRKR. She has a purple-colored florescent lightbar.krfan1 wrote:CB2001 used to write a fanfic series called Team Renegade Knight Rider (TRKR) He had a black 98+ TA named K.A.T.T. make a few appearances in his fanfic series.

Weird, it'll work on Safari, but not on my Firefox browser. I'll work on it. It sucks anyway, I need to make a better one.FuzzieDice wrote:Army F-Body: Can't see your pick. Comes up broken image.Sounds like a cool idea for a car though.
KIAN! Good to see you around again!Hopefully you'll become less busy and actually come back soon. Missed ya around here.

K.I.A.N. sounds cool, and kinda cute!
Can a man love a car? I do! If KITT doesn't take her, I will! KATT should be the psycho-b**** to KARR, or SKAR as he is now.

You know, just now thinking about the above, I don't think my KATT should be counted. I mean, KATT seems like a logical name for a Knight Industries vehicle. Anyone could have thought about it. Plus, another reason why it can be excluded is the fact that its a simple combination of KITT and KARR's name (Knight Automated Two Thousand).CB2001 wrote:Yeah, I did, didn't I? So, in other words, I shouldn't really be counted as someone to come up with the idea of KATT, nor should KATT from my fic series should be counted. KATT can still be used by many of people.

I had orginally thought up and created a "K.A.T.T." vehicle that was going to be included in my "Knight Force" fan fic, which, 6 years after I created the website, still hasn't gotten written because I'm a perfectionist and I want my story to work out flawlessly in my mind. Good news is that I have several good ideas on how to write my story, the bad news is that I have no idea when I'll have time to write all of it (I want it to be approximately novel-length) and it unfortunately also won't include K.A.T.T. or the other two new Knight vehicles I was thinking of creating. K.A.T.T. (in my series) was going to stand for Knight Automation Two Thousand and was based off of a black 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. K.A.T.T. was going to have a female personality (obviously) and have a silver/light grey scanner color. I don't think I have the pics still on my AOL webspace but maybe I will upload for all to see once again.

I think that KATT should take the pshyco-b**** role to KARR, and have KIAN be my girlfriend...I mean, uh, my car? *Nervous Laugh*

Hey, my car KOPP (a converted DeLorean DMC-12 rebuilt in 1984) has a blue scanner! Maybe KOPP and STAR could get together...

Sure! KOPP sounds cool. From your other thread, it sounds like they'd have a lot in common. I like all these ideas for new AIs.
I'm thinking about adding a new semi too. Black and silver, and big enough for both cars. Maybe some new features.
