Something I noticed: Michael talking to KITT

Post by KI2000 » Sun Sep 05, 2004 8:12 am

Hi everyone. I was watching Knight of the Rising Sun yesterday, and all of a sudden I noticed that whenever Michael is talking to KITT, that he is looking at the middle part of th car. That's odd, because KITT's voice modulator is located just above the steering wheel. Did anyone notice that? And why does he do that?

If I am not misstaking - I believe that this question has been asked before by someone else. The answer that was given was that he was probably looking at the monitors because that is where Kitts sensors would be and he would be talking to the microphone build into the dash and also that the main computer circut would be right behind the monitors and it would seem better to have it that he was looking there to address Kitt. Not only that but that is where he would look to see the camera for the audience to see him. Hope that I remembered this correctly and that this answers your question.

Maybe Michael likes that panel better, in the other topic we also address guys who look at women's chest when they talk with them
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

 I never have THAT problem, thanks to not being "well endowed". ;) Actually, it's a blessing because then the damn things don't get in the way under the hood!

Anyway, oh yeah, I was going to mention that in the first season somewhere (I think the Topaz Connection?) K.I.T.T. gets a new voice modulator and asks Michael how he likes it and Michael indicated he liked it. So in effect, he was supposed to have been looking at it to notice. :)

Well, having a well endowed "dashboard" for women does have advantages and disadvantages. One advantage is, if her car doesn't have an airbag, she can always count on her...ummm..."blessings" to absorb most of the impact in case of a frontal collision.

Nahhhh...this is just a joke folks. Ladies out there, don't get any ideas. Always buckle up when driving.
