New Aoshima KARR 1/43 model car (pic link included)
Howdy all!!
Its been talked about on the KR-UK, but pictures have only just surfaced. Aoshima, the company that made the expensive mini-z cars and the model truck are making KITT and KARR 1/43 scale model cars. See link for pics of KARR:
http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?AOS07227
Its looking good with rubber tyres, proper paint-job (unlike the blue of the mini-z) and it looks great. hlj also show that there making something called the Knight Rider Knight2000 KITT in addition to the KITT and KARR, but I don't have any idea what that might be.

Hobby Link Japan is probably the easiest company to go through. Their ordering system offers different forms of payment, and it's quick. They also let you track your order and let you know the status of your order.
I bought the Bandai Enterprise from them several months ago, and I had no problems (Other than the anticipation of waiting for my package to get here).

Thanks Neil
hmm, blinking type LED use? wonder if that means the models will come with a working LED scanner? I suspect it does. Makes the model value for money.
Looking at the hlj site, they say that 3 (yes three) KR cars are being released in October 2003. They are usually very accurate, to the point of being psychic with knowing release dates. The link below shows their current list of KR products.

Note the mysterious "Knight Rider Knight2000 KITT" at a slightly cheaper price and with no scale. I have heard nothing of it and I know hlj don't just input data without knowing something. What could it be?.....apart from the obvious, its a model KITT.
