Imagine they had season 8 (the final season) of knight rider, here's how it would end

Garth knight returns from the dead and so does KARR and both of them finally dueling out with KITT and Michael Knight.
and Michael Knight and KITT won the battle and garth and karr exploded.

Michael Knight retires from FLAG after 8 years of service and KITT 2.0 (1987 Pontiac Firebird trans-am) got decommissioned

And, here I figured it would be Michael retiring from the Foundation, buying a beach side home and taking a hobby as a lifeguard with ownership over one of the world's very few cars that could drive on water.
