Why does everyone jump to the camaro? it's way to boxy and small, they don't look like a proper kitt.

Right, because the mustang doesn't look boxy at all...
When I first heard a backdoor pilot was being developed and that kitt will have a mustang body I felt they might as well use a Scion.
But I have to admit it did grow on me.

I'm not saying the mustangs aren't boxy, but camaro's are much boxier and very tiny, as well they just don't feel like a kitt.

Perhaps, but the lines of Kitt to me are still there. Even the camero nose had the slot for the scanner up until 2010 models.

I always liked the idea of a Camaro Kitt but minus the Turbocast wheels.

Yes Ravagedhobo keep kitt as the 2008 Shelby Mustang or use the new 2015 mustang.

Why does everyone jump to the camaro? it's way to boxy and small, they don't look like a proper kitt.

Dayam! that 015 looks sick, but here's an idea instead of new cars, why not have a blast from the past. Both kitts could be used, maybe having the old kitt work together with the new kitt. I think it would be cool having the 2 kitts work as one.

David would endorse anything as long as it had knight rider on it and the money to pay for his appearence. It was also his hope that he would have control over how the show was going to be playing out which he was denied and told they are going a different direction.By saying he backs the show before it starts is a way of pushing for its success and keeping it alive long enough for him to reprise his role as Michael Knight again.
The mustang is nice but the bodystyle that most resembles a trans am to me nowadays is a camaro over a mustang. The pointy nose is just there with the scanner area already cut out and ready for installation.

Yeah i know david is there for the money.
The camaro and mustang both have a flat front end. Now for the cut out on the camaro ready for the scanner. What the mustang supersnake hood cut outs it was awesome and ready for the 2 scanners.
The only car today that has a front end like the 82 trans am is the corvette.

I never liked the dual scanner hood in the first place. There's more of a pointed angle on the camero than the Mustang.

Don't get me wrong i like the camaro but like the mustang better.
Does kitt need a pointed angle front end? We could use this then but in black.

That could work with a little fine tweaking!
Honestly, I don't see any reason why the Camaro or Corvette couldn't be kitt. I don't mind the mustang kitt either, but they could of done without all the "transforming" stuff and could of just debadged it.

There is the best, then the Rest!

LOL if only Bruce Wayne could have driven that instead of the tumbler.Naturally he would have had to ask if it comes in black. But truth be told,he might as well be driving around in a tampon. He might be building it for batgirl.
i like the corvette but its not as good as a bodystye as a camaro. Also kitt was meant to look more like an ordinary sports car not a very expensive car without a backseat.
