Hello folks,
I have a Mio Knight Rider GPS and my screen quit on me, It talks but the screen is black, what would be the kind of replacement screen would I need?
What is the replacement screen part number?
Any info on where to get one?
I know the connecting ribbon has to be a certain type, but which one? I see screens all over ebay but which one is the right one?

I know they don't make this gps anymore. Not sure if you could find a replacement for it or not

For future reference, I got this figured out. I picked up a screen on eBay for $25 it is model number LM5430HF10- 003
Those 0 are numerical not alphabetical

Yes I got it working again, like a charm with a new screen, now that I know how to open it, I should also put in a new battery since the original did not last that long

yes mine never lasted long even when it was new. It makes it 15 minutes and needs plugged in again. It would be awesome if you could do a how to on replacing the screen and battery. I would love to replace my battery.
