Knight Rider, the ‘80s series that solidified David Hasselhoff, also known as ‘The Hoff’ as an international television star, makes its way onto TopTV viewer’s living rooms this Thursday, 22nd November at 20:30 on FOX Retro.
The show is based on an operation devoted to public justice by a self-made billionaire Wilton Knight (Richard Basehart), who saves Michael Long (David Hasselhoff) through plastic surgery, after a near fatal accident and makes him a part of a crime fighting duo with a state-of-the-art car named ‘KITT’. The series follow the pair as they fight crime and restore order.
The brainchild of Glen A. Larson became iconic in the aera of sci-fi television programming, ran an impressive 84 episodes and went on to become a household name in millions of households globally, during the time of production, making it one of the most recognisable entities around.
