I spotted this KITT replica at a local movie theatre just a few miles from my home back at the very end of December when i was home on winter break. I was at the movies with my girlfriend to go see "Star Trek: Nemesis" and we happened to park right next to this car! At first I thought it was just the same model Trans Am from the rear but then I saw the inside and saw that the guy had a tattered KITT wraparound dash and only a few electronics (he mixed and matched some of the KITT electronicsa with some other original or custom gauges) fitted into it. Then i got to the front of the car and saw what had to be the most pathetic and crappiest attempt at creating a KITT nose that I've ever seen. It looks like he probably did the welding in a workshop of some sort and obviously rushed the job along the way. The guy had an Old Dominion University staff sticker on his car (ODU is a local college that my girlfriend also happens to attend) so I now have my girlfriend look for it all the time when she goes to school. LOL Anyway, thought I'd share this picture that my girlfriend took of the car with you guys and I'm sorry we didn't get a shot at the rest of the car (especially the dash) but actually, maybe it was better that we didn't given the condition it was in.

Well, all I can say its a start. I hope you remembered to leave a note on the car refering him to Mark's Custom Kits and the website address.

Yeah, but rip off the ugly bits, and you've got the perfect base. Well, more perfect than none.

just give it a good ole scrub and it'll look much better than it does now.
the bumper doesn't bother me. it's how dirty it looks. the guy obviously don't care for it.
oh well.

Agh, I see potential. Then again, I see potential in the very worst kept Firebirds you can imagine, even Firebirds/Trans Ams that don't even run!
