Hi

Post by Equinox » Fri Jul 04, 2003 3:24 pm

Hi,

New here.

Just wanted to say how Knight Rider brings back fond memories for me. I love everything about it, KITT, Michael Knight, the music. Its a classic 80's TV show without a doubt.
I feel like going out and buying a Pontiac Trans Am right now, trouble is living in the UK they are quite rare. :(

Anyway great forum, and great to see so many fans of the show are still around. :D

Cheers
Equinox

I might just be able to afford to buy one, whether i could keep it running is another matter :?
I doubt i could afford to insure the thing anyway, being a 25 yr old with 9 points on my licence. They would laff at me :D

equinox is the name of an online text rpg i play at bbs.mircx.com.

GEEK ALERT!!!

Equinox is also the name givin to either of the two times during a year when the sun crosses the celestial equator and when the length of day and night are approximately equal; the vernal equinox or the autumnal equinox.

It is also the name of a an album put out by a musician called Jean Micheal Jarre....a Frence instrumentalist.

Autralianknight, I found an 89 in Perth I think it was, minus engine, gerabox, computer, etc, for 9 grand. Not a bad price, really. Thought about putting a Commodore V6 engine & tranny in it. But alas, money is always the object. :kitt2:

that would be the cheapest ive heard of a ta in australia

twice i nearly bought one, one was an 82 mint black new paint tan interior newly painted engine bay ttops no ground effects, all i would have needed was a dash, pods, and nose and i would have been set,
it was $15000 . beautiful car, but couldnt get the loan,
the other car was 30k ttopps white, 89 would have been too nice to convert, i did see one a few weeks ago near buy at $16thousand but it was a hard top.. darn.... every time i see one my heart stops..
i crave for kitt, either 1st season or 4th convertable..
would be awsome..

its funny when ever its raining and im shopping i have a habbit of talking to my watch and asking my car to come and pic me up.. :kittconv:

People do it all the time here in New Zealand....pay $NZD25,000 for a brand new Jap inport...whihc includes the cost of getting it out from Japan

So it might not be a bad option Aussie
