As the title states, Janet Carroll has died. She is probably best known as the Joel's mother in Risky Business, but she was a long time TV actress guest starring in numerous TV series. Included in her long resume, she played Denise Merritt, Randy's mother in season 2 episode "Soul Survivor".
RIP Janet.
