I decided to see if I could make a scanner with basic HTML, no flash, no javascript.
While the code isn't cleaned up, it works. If you got the resolution to 800x600, it won't quite work.

I apologize -- don't bother looking for it. A day or two later, the website provider went down for some kind of repair, for two or three days, and when it came back up, my site was gone; second time that's happened with this site, and it didn't break any of the rules.
And when things appeared to get better, they got worse, and everyday was a day to cry.
