1994 Camaro Conversion Questions/help?
Hi, new here and sorry if this is in the wrong place. I just got a 1994 Camaro, my favorite body style, and the car needs some work. It's my little project haha.. Anyway, I saw on youtube where a man converted and older Camaro into a KITT inspired vehicle and it turned out fairly nice. I was wondering had anyone attempted anything with a 94 body style or there abouts? Is it even possible? How the dash would fit, all that? I've wanted a KITT since the show aired..I'm 32 now and this might be the closest thing I get to it..unless I hit that huge lotto or get really lucky at the slots! Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated..thank you all!

I can see why you liked that bodystyle. It always looked much closer to the 82 kitt style then the 94 trans am did.The lines were smoother.I don't know if its possible to change the wheels on that camaro to the 82 turbo fin or not but this should give you a few ideas.

What you have to do is ask a skilled bodyshop or mechanic if its at all possible to put the turbofin rims of an 82 trans am on a 94 camaro.I used to think it was just a hubcap but I found out its a set of rims:

then you add a plate over it to make this:

I hear most people go with the 14 inch cause its cheaper and easier to find.Kitt had the 15 inch rims.
