Knight Rider wedding
Where can I purchase a remote controlled KIT? I'm getting married in may, and our entry song in going to be the theme song, and I'd like to have a KIT that we can drive out on the dance floor, doo some dohnuts and stuff, right before the wedding party walks out. The wife is going to love that
Thanks!

Your wife is going to love THAT? Man! Mine would've gone spare! And then killed me in front of everyone. Good thing we only used bagpipes.mpiontek wrote:Where can I purchase a remote controlled KIT? Ok folks, I just got an idea that is gonna sound extremely corny and stupid but fun to think about.... If nothing else it may ellicit a laugh or two out of people. Ahem.... how about a knight rider online MATCH site? A site either separate or combined with knight rider online to bring people who love Knight Rider like we do a little bit too much together. Different specifications could exist to make these matches from location to level of Knight Rider fanatacism.... eh??? What do you think?

A potential problem with a "Knight Rider match site" is that the show has a relatively limited fan base. A search for a match who is remotely obsessed about Knight Rider, or any other TV show for that matter, is a very restrictive and probably futile search. I'm a sci-fi fan who likes many shows, but there's no way that I'd limit myself to women who like science fiction. I've had many fun dates with women who wouldn't know a Knight 2000 from a Mystery Science Theater 3000, and that's more than fine by me.

I still have my wedding planned out. I already have the designs for the Foundation styled cake, and of course, the KITT conversions as carriages leading me in. It will probably be the first wedding where the groom is required to wear a black leather jacket, and the bride will march in to the Knight Rider theme.

now that sounds like a good time, KI.
dating someone who is as obsessed as you about a show, can't always be a good thing. Although the "market" is limited in the Knight Rider realm. Although a SCI-FI match site would be a good idea I think. Cause it seems to be a polar subject in initial dating, that would be good to know that they do like it right off the bat.

I think it'd be great to date a fellow sci-fi fan, but most of the women I've dated who are sci-fi fans are screwed up somehow. That's certainly not to say that all sci-fi fan femmes are screwed up. I am saying, however, that women who like sci-fi are hard enough to find, let alone women who like sci-fi and have the kind of personality that you'd want in a ladyfriend.neps wrote:dating someone who is as obsessed as you about a show, can't always be a good thing. I was talking about mixed relationships (Windows users dating Mac users) with a woman who told me "it's not that I would never date a Windows user, it's just that I can't see myself being attracted to someone who would prefer a PC over a Mac".
So maybe the context here could be "it's not that I wouldn't date someone who didn't like Knight Rider, I just can't see being attracted to someone who didn't like the show." Hey, people get married for worse reasons than that.
Mike
