Knight of the Drones 1:64 Diorama

Post by Josch Schulz » Thu Jan 06, 2011 6:24 pm

Hey Friends

I just want to show you the work I started. The Scene I make is the famous chase scene from the first beginning after Michaels gets the call from Devon. I startet with KITT today and this is how far i come:

As you see everything is made from Ertl, i used this for the special RETRO STYLE look, for the Drones car i pic out this one:

I thought when I made something like this it must be looked like a gift set from the 80s...like Ertl made one and never sell it on the market  :good: Baseline is Greenlight Diorama from Bullit. I hope there is a way I can find the right glasbox for it later...would be a shame when it gets dirty :(

Really cool idea!
I've been collecting the James Bond Car Collection which comes with little diorama & modelcar and always have been thinking how cool dioramas could be created from Knight Rider, you've just showed an excellent example of it :)
