I don't mean to offend anyone, and I'm glad your KITT was featured in a magazine, but these pictures border on inappropriate for an open forum. I have a son who looks at this site with me because I'm passing the enjoyment of Knight Rider to him, but this is ridiculous.
- Enough is enough. Let me ask you something Dave, did you let your son watch the new Knight Rider in its entirety? What about you Supermommy? If so, this display is tame in comparison. There's no nudity, no flashing g-string cheek shots, no close up of cleavage, it's attractive women enjoying cars and that's a national pastime that has nothing to do with compromising a woman's integrity (Matt), she's enjoying the car? What's the problem with this? The girls are models? They need to pay the bills like everyone else? It doesn't matter whether it's cars, make up, bras, or whatever - it's a respected profession, its not porn. I've seen HighSpeedMag do far worse. I think people try to see more than is really there.
Has the world come to such a high degree of censorship, any showing of skin is considered pornography yet we can show in graphic bloody detail the taking of human lives on television and in video games? There is nothing explicit here and the photos are done tastefully with an obvious respect for concealing nudity in these particular shots.
I have no doubt Alex posted images he felt were family friendly, given what "family friendly" stands for by
todays standards.
I agree with Matthew, Alex could had made some sort of disclaimer to give people a head's up of what the thread contained. So I'd consider that a lesson learned.
If Knight Rider Online and its mods wish to censor or discourage displays of this nature, it's their community and they make the rules, so they should be followed. I think Matthew turning the photos into links was a sensible solution but in my opinion the commentary to what Alex did was unecessary. If you don't like the thread or it offends you, move on to another one instead of trying to bend everyone to adhere to your particular viewpoint. There's plenty of content to view on KRO that's fun for all ages - use proper discretion.
Otherwise I see nothing wrong here.
