OMG, this is great. How did you do it?
BTW, I don't quite see the three bars in the video, but this can be because of the low quality of the video. Does your voice orb have the typical KITT bars in it?

Yes it has the 3 bars. It's just the DV cam quality that makes it hard to see.

Man that's really awesome. I have no Mustang, but I think I might want to own a voice orb anyway
Well done. I really thought it wouldn't be possible to have the voice globe from the show made real.
You should ask NBC / GST if they want this, saves post productions a lot of time and would look really really great when promoting the show with a real car.
This is the second best video I've seen on KR this year, right after the KARR promo.

So KITT's wheels are 20" tall, but what about width. When the hero and attack cars were sold at auction after the tv movie,it was stated in the ad that the front wheels were 8.5" wide and the back were 10" wide. Is this true for the series cars too and what size tires does KITT have?

Alright guys I'm on my way to getting KI3T installed....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDVNnPXrkuI&fmt=18" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
As far as getting them installed in the show cars, thats up to the folks at NBC. No one has gotten a hold of me yet about them. But they may not even know about it. If they are intrigued they will e-mail me here or on youtube.

I'm interested in that link as well. I didn't know there was anyone, other that Taoworm and I, who was building a KI3T replica. Why the hell don't we have KI3T smiley like Mustang Source?

Theres not really a KI3T in there, that one guy just put a scanner in his scoops & the other guy has a decent KR clone but nothing else added. I thought you meant there was a full on finished KI3T over there but its cool. What i wanna know is where to get the Shelby GT500KR body kit from! I bet that the KR/Super Snake hood will be very popular among 2005-09 Mustang owners! The only bad thing is you cant find a decent one anywhere because Shelby doesnt make them availible to the public & the Cervani one looks clunky & the scoops are raised too high!

The KR and Super Snake hoods are slightly different. I hope to have the hood, scanner, and front end by May.
I plan on getting the GT500 front end and replica KR hood from here:

I've noticed that the GT500KR lower grill in the front end can't be found anywhere (at least when I looked on line). The only difference between the KR's grill and the GT500's lower grill is two additional holes, one on each side near the fog lights. Anyone able to find that?
On that note, if anyone has $80,000 to donate to my KI3T replica, I'd love to buy the 3 black/black GT500KRs in stock at two different dealers in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Bring Knight Rider back for Season 2!!

Hey thanks for the links but the spoiler on the KR & KI3T is different than the standard Shelby one. And has anyone found a GT500 rear fascia?

Since I have a 2007 Mustang in Black, but with Chamios interior, I decided to make my own version of KITT. So far it has been fun, and everyone loves it at the shows. I added the scanner from Auto Indulgence, and sound effects are done with hidden speakers and an MP3 player. I also added the blue upper dash lighting. Here are some photos of how it looks so far.

Yeah...we need video man. I've been debating on going the cheap route from AutoI with their Knight Raider scanner, but I've yet to see one in video. I'm leaning towards IceLed.

I bought the Knight Raider Scanner about 2 months ago. LOVE IT!!! I tried to upload a video here, but it won't let me due to size limitations on this site. I just uploaded it to YouTube, so here is the URL:

The real one was just too expensive for me. If they eventually come out with the hood/scanner setup at a reasonable price, I will probably upgrade. But I got the Night Raider on sale at $74.95, and it looks much wider at night than it really is.

Hey i found not only the rear bumper cover but Mustangs Unlimited has the entire GT500 body kit! Match that with the KR hood, spoiler, wheels & your off!
