Knight Rider Intro Change???

So has anyone else noticed that the current Knight Rider Intro has scene clips from about the first 4 episodes? What happens now? Are they going to change it up with new clips from future episodes? I hope to see this change and make it correspond with the different segments of the season as it progresses.

What does everyone think?

Im guessing the Intro was only made shortly before the first ep was broadcast and we know from comic con that they were about 4 eps in at that point. I wouldnt mind the intro being updated completely to include clips of the cast like in the original oh and a turbo boost!

That's not unusual, look at the Original Series' opening titles in the first season -- all shots from the pilot and "Inside Out", the first two produced episodes.

I wouldn't be surprised if they change the opening titles for the "back nine" episodes, but I bet there will almost certainly be a new version if it goes to a second season.

I doubt the intro will change at all for the rest of the season. It's common for television shows to only show clips of the first 8 (or less) episodes from a season since that's all that's typically filmed at that point, so I've learned. I'm all but certain the intro will change if the show is picked up for a second season.

Maybe they need to be creative and start making an intro that DOES NOT show clips from the episodes, but instead showing exclusive shots made specifically for the intro, like in the February backdoor pilot. That one works for me because it doesn't show episode clips, but instead showing CGs of KITT. An intro that shows all the features of KITT such as his transformation and his Attack Mode weaponry (and TURBO BOOST) would be nice!

Nah, the backdoor pilot intro was lame. I like the style of the original series, especially because all the scenes are from KITT's point of view. And what is possible with shots from just 4 episodes shows this fanmade intro.

Although I would prefer the new theme song.

And I hope we will get some changes for the back 9 episodes. At least they got enough feedback now to improve.
Remember, in the original series KITT got his new voice modulator after epsiode 9, the semi became black and the budget was stocked up.

That and the last interview, where GST said they are thinking about a semi and working on real turbo boost makes me think there are more things to come.

That's really cool, but even though I like the old theme, I do like the new, rockier arrangement better.

And yes, that's all the cast you need in the new series.

I do like the look of that video but I think the video area is a bit small. The feel of it is awesome though. I like the names like that tooo.

I'd be up for regular intro changes every few eps. Wouldn't be financially feasible though.

I think starting with the same episode where The Hoff returns, he should do Wilton Knight's speaking part for the intro and they should keep that thereafter. They don't need the same speech verbatim, but something like that introducing KR and then MK Jr.

I like the new arrangement... just thought it was always missing something... like the voiceover.

Yeah they would have to change the words if they did a voice over, because what Wilton's talking about isn't what this new KR is about.

The standard for opening credits is they get updated each season. Even the old KR did that.

That's really cool, but even though I like the old theme, I do like the new, rockier arrangement better.

If a rock arrangement were all it was there would be no problem. But after the first 15 seconds or so you can't hear ANY part of the Knight Rider theme. I don't have a problem with the style, but I'd like the incredibly famous Knight Rider theme to be more prominent. (Oh, and maybe play bits and pieces of it in the show! ...but I know that shows don't really do that any more...)
