New KR Promo during the football game?

I think I may have just seen a new 30 sec. promo showing the car transform to the Attack mode and KITT says Transformation complete at the end. It was on between 8:30 and 8:40.

I`m almost sure Neil would have caught this, from what I understand his DVR/PVR is on almost permanently, now the premiere date is getting closer.

Most likely it will be up on the tube soon and shortly followed by a link to the HD version!

He`s usually got these new promo`s up before we`re even aware they exist!

Just caught a "prepare for Turbo Boost" promo while watching Conan, in the commercials after Kevin Connelly's interview, check 1:30-1:37am, must be a delay from the football game? Nothing big though, just a dark shot with KITT's scanner and him saying "prepare for Turbo Boost" (probably taken from the other promo with actual footage) and then cut to the usual "Knight Rider premiere's September 24th" shot with Justin leaning against the car.

I saw one that said transforming from the inside out around 2 in the morning and then again about ten minutes later. I didn’t manage to hit record though -I’m a little sleepy. It sounds like it’s the one we already got.

They actually aired two commercials last night during football. the :10 second one at 8:40 ish and another during the fourth quarter that was :15 seconds. I've put online only the longer one

Thanks Neil,

I've created a desktop image of the attack KITT from the final frame of the transformation if anyone wants to use it. It's 1280x800, since that's the resolution my laptop runs at. This might just be one of the best CGI models that I've seen since I first saw the Transformers switch to robot form.

I was gonna use this for a desktop. But there is a critical error that keeps me from liking it.

CGI guys forgot the engine after it transformed.... you can see the driver's side front wheel through th emesh grill......

I noticed that too, I darkened the grill up and I think it looks better!

Hey everyone, this is Enigma from the Knight Rider Visual Effects team. So happy you like the transform, we're spending a lot of time and hard work trying to make these some of the coolest effects you've ever seen!

Someone mentioned seeing through the grill, this was essentially a testing "beauty shot" version of the transform, a lot of small details are different in the actual show and we've been working on making sure KITT is full realized, including the interior and engine so you don't see through the grill like in this render. As you can imagine these transforms are quite difficult to do, but we hope they will be virtually seamless when you see the final versions.

A lot of fun surprises coming up, but thanks for paying attention! We read these boards religiously, and always appreciate the fan feedback. Can't wait to see what you think when the first episode airs.

Matthew - Thanks! I'm going to have to resize my copy down to 1280 x 800 which is my laptop screen size. But that's no problem. I'm going to love this desktop!
