Since Mr.Bruening's character is now going to be refered to as Michael Knight in the series and no longer Mike Traceur, would it be fair to assume they might add Richard Basehart's narration during the opening credits just like they did with the original series?
I might be wrong in assuming that they might do this, but IMO it would make sense. Technically since Michael's son will the new man who does not exist it would just be a natural move.
What are your thoughts on this?

Considering Mike had no interaction or any sort of relationship with him, it just wouldn't make sense, Wilton Knight basically created the Michael Knight "Sr." Besides that I doubt NBC would want to bother paying his estate to use it in the new series. I could see a possible new version of it but with how limited intros are for most shows they might not even do any kind of dialog in the opening, just the music with the cast names coming up. If they were to use it, it'd be spoken by someone who was involved in the new show.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

In Addtion to that.
It would not make sense.
"Knight Rider a shadowy flight into the world of a man who does not exist"
The first Micheal Knight had exstensive plastic surgey, which is diffrent to the new Micheal Knight, he's just simply changed his name from Tracuer to Knight, he still looks the same.

Plus it appears it's more of a team based affair. "One team can make a difference" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Unfortunately for DH to reprise his original role as KITTs driver would almost make the show "Zimmer Rider..."

Seriously If they did use narration over the intro, it should only be Hasslehoff who voices it. Anyone else just would`nt be right, after all he was the original Knight Rider.
I`d love to hear that!

That would be cool. He did that in Kickin' it Old-Skool just before he lent KITT out to Justin.

Sadly Richard Basehart died shortly after Knight Riders pilot *Cries.* But it would make sense that David Hasselhoff did the opening credits now. Something new to add, with a taste of the old

According to IMDB he died in 1984 so would it be fair to assume he died during when the second season of KR was airing?
