Thoughts regarding K.I.T.T. evolving through new series

Agreed, that's a good title in that particular situation.

He's just trying to be a 'rebel' by using The Hoff's mistake of calling him Jason. Get over it, David and the T/A are not leads and are held to cameos that I'm sure will be episodes made to appease old fans, hopefully. In a perfect world we would all love 'season 5' but unfortunately we're skipping all the way to about season 26. If you're absolutely disgusted by the new series then you can make the choice to not watch it. If you're so disinterested by KR08 then why make such meager attempts to get involved in the discussion? I'm sure everyone has issues here or there with the new incarnation but by being childish about it is doing NOTHING. You think it should be different? Be proactive, start a petition or something. Every time you post lately FX23 it's like you're trying to launch yourself a pity party and I don't see anyones heart pumping purple piss for you dude.

If it's a slow boring episode you want to sleep though they can call it KnightQuil. I mean it can't be worse then Voo Doo Knight which was misspelled (voodoo) to begin with can it?

Then they can capitalize on the Law and Order/CSI popularity and call their episode Knight Court. How about a Resident Evil episode called Knight of the Living Neon?? Or Indiana Jones motif with Knight Hates Snakes.

I think a second car would be a better show, it gives KITT something to fight. Whether it be an older (Late 90's) version of the Mustang, a prior model of KITT (like KARR), or his stolen AI from the Pilot, in any car at all, it would make it more exciting. Just think, the bad car being able to transform and disguise himself as the real KITT (If it's a different model car). Just my thoughts, I know I'll stir up some more thoughts whether people like this idea or not......KITT's supposed to be the hero

Yeah,I agree.It's better to have a KARR-like character than a KILLER KITT-like character-especially in the first season.He's the hero and the STAR of the show.Plus we want to put KI3T in a positive image.FIrst impressions are everything.
For example,KARR can kidnap Mike,and KI3T and Sarah can save him(although we don't want another TKR,it would be fun to see Sarah and KI3T fight bad guys somtimes).

I did have Chariot of Gold in mind,but remember:this show might have a harder time because of it's sort of weak pilot and putting a KILLER KI3T might be starting off KR '08 on the wrong foot.Although I was born in the 90's,I caught KR on the sci-fi channel untill it was taken off.KR '08 currently has an audience with mixed opinions,and to me,KR '08 should have a Killer KI3T later.

Why does KITT have to turn evil. What we've seen of this car, he sounds like he's been programmed like the first KITT where human life is paramount.

I humbly imagine that he simply takes this to a logical point - almost like a certain Vulcan... "The needs of many outweigh the needs of the few" - where he decides to let one (or few) die to save many, while Mike wants to save them all..

Also, I know this happened a lot in the 80s where everybody had an evil twin, does this still happen today (I just can't see them having a KARR type prototype (KA3R?) infiltrate the KITT-Cave pretending to be KITT, though it is an intriging idea.

My take on his evolution will be a boring personality (as shown in the pilot) to a much livelier hero - much like the original kitt went through - but then again... Been there done that.

Whatever happens - I'm hanging for it, and I'm sure I'll love it.

maybe what they should do, is have the Alex Torres, is it? Have it so that he was to be the original choice to drive KITT, But, since I think he's gonna be trouble anyhow, have it that they chose Mike Tracuer over Torres because Torres had a bad attitude, and now he is jealous cause Mike is with KITT, so he a copy of the AI, alters it, and then makes his own KITT out of, basically any car he wants, and uses that against the real KITT....It could even be an alternate AI put in storage that was supposed to be used in the Mustang had Alex Torres been the choice????
